Bass Cat Owner Invitational 2019!
« on: January 04, 2019, 04:47:46 PM »

In April, 2019 we will converge on NW Arkansas where Bassmaster held the first  Bass Anglers Sportsmanís Society professional bass fishing event. A lake where 106 anglers including Ray Murski, Shorty Evans, Rayborn Waits, Carlos Mayo and more cut their mark on bass fishing heritage June 5-7, 1967.

A tentative approval and reservation is in place for the Owners Invitational.
Northwest Arkansas and Beaver Lake will be host to the 32nd annual 2019 Bass Cat Owners Invitational. The event will be held out of Prairie Creek and Rogers, AR, this is a great family atmosphere.

We will all converge on Rogers, Arkansas for registration April 25th, with event dates of the 26th and 27th. Our host will be the Rogers Lowell Chamber of Commerce, with assistance of their A&P Commission.

Crystal Bridges Museum, Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville are all handy for those families attending. The Crystal Bridges Museum will leave everyone inamazement at the contribution Alice Walton, and the Walton family, made to their home town. https://crystalbridges.org

Northwest Arkansas is one of the most prosperous areas in the world. Business headquarters are many like those of Tyson Foods, JB Hunt, WalMart, Samís, Georgeís and more all settling in this Ozark community. There are so many developing businesses around that we couldnít name them all. And donít miss the historic A&Q Chicken House when your around Springdale. From our Presidents on down everyone whoís anyone in NW Arkansas frequented the restaurant.

Eureka Springs is just a few minutes north on the shores of Beaver and Pea Ridge National Battlefield will give everyone a piece of our Nations history with one of the few major Ozark conflicts during the Civil War.

This is also right down the road from Belle Vista, a Cooper Community. Our friends at Cooper Communities have long been supporters of Bass Cat. Being in their home town area and seeing what Belle Vista has to offer is neat. From the golf to the lakes Belle Vista has plenty to offer.

We chose NW Arkansas for our Bass Cat Family, to show more of our Ozarks beauty to all of the families. Your youth and spouses can definitely find a lot to do around Beaver Lake that week and we hope you bring them along!

I have never been to the OI but have attended several of the Regional OI's.  They all have been a class act so I am sure that the main event would be an outstanding event!

I've been to many Ranger tourneys but this will be my first BassCat OI. As much as Rick and I talk business and politics, I'm surprised. If the Dr's supply me with new Bailing wire to hold my body together, my partner and I will be there.

I have still not decided....I know that I will be donating money by fishing a deep clear lake.  I know that it is more about comradery but I at least would like to have it in the back of my head that I had a chance...lol  Still considering it though.

I keep saying I'm going to fish the OI... every year a different excuse.  I don't love that it's on beaver ... that's a pretty good trip for me.
IDK... gotta think about it.

My biggest problem with the OI is that I'm a high school football and track coach and it's usually smack dab in the middle of my track season.  April is a tough month for me to get away and fish much.

Beaver doesn't necessarily scare me..... although I don't love it either.  Deep clear water isn't my thing but there should be a decent percentage of the fish spawning that time of year up there i would think.
