A little snow in Missouri
« on: January 12, 2019, 01:02:30 PM »

I'd take a picture of 16 inches of Missouri snow but I can't get the doors open to go outside, We got freezing rain first which covered the door and casing. This froze the door to the casing. Then the snow blew built up around the doors. The radio said a mile from my house the snow was only 7 inches. The area had pockets of heavy snow move through. If you don't hear from me in a week, send help.

I'm in South county and I'd guess we have close to 8.. Traffic was really jacked up last night with cars stuck on the hills and spun out.
Fortunately I have a 4wd. truck and snuck through the back roads but I saw on the news some folks were stuck on 44 all night.

We have 12 inches about 10 miles north of Dale with snow still coming down.  But I bet the jerkbait bite was on fire today at Lake of the Ozarks.

It's not even freezing here. That's why there's so much snow. It's WET.

Up here snow - ice - cold for 5 months every winter that I can remember 3 to 4 feet of ice on the lakes makes for a really tough jerk bait bite

Always a silver lining.

And here we go again- single-digit temps Saturday night after snow Friday and Saturday.

I may have to see what the Okeechobee looks like...
