Took my son fishing today.
« on: February 16, 2019, 07:11:03 PM »

We fished the Everglades, and although the fishing was pretty tough, my son came across the pattern that saved the day!!

Thanks Lip. The saving bait was a centipede on a 1/16 weight.

Its pretty common Lip, at least with me. Depending on the fall rate, I may also go to 1/32. Fish can be very picky, and something as simple as a weight change can make a huge difference.

I do the same thing with my Crappie jigs also. Sometimes they want it fluttering down real slow.
