Reels have sat in shed for about 10 years.

I have a bunch of the gold chronarch supper frees that have sat in the shed for about 10 years. Should I repack the bearings before attempting to use them or are they good to go?

I'd give them a once over just because, but they may not need it.

Definitely some fresh oil and grease will do them some good. Those were (and still are) amazing reels. I have the JDM version, and its still one of my favorite of all time Shimano reels.

Shimano star drag works great on gears and drag. Any good synthetic grease for the rest. Those are quite complicated reels for the average person to take down completely, so be careful.

The drag washers might need replaced as well, especially if the drag was tightened down during that time.

Those reels were great reels though. They'll still serve you well today with a little TLC tune up.

The Gold Chronarch... Wow... A highly sought after reel. Problem is not many parts left.

Definitely take them down and clean them up. You don't want a corroded part to cause something to break, you may not be able to get parts to fix it.

LMG is all over the lubrication. Let us know if you need any help.
