Places to stay around Caddo
« on: April 17, 2019, 09:21:41 AM »

Gonna be there for a club tournament the 18th of May. Looking for a place to stay on the LA side that won't break the bank.  Could be anywhere from 1 to possibly 5 guys staying there.  Any suggestions would be welcomed.  I do not know this area well.
Would be coming up to practice friday and stay friday night before the tournament.

There really aren't any places to stay on the lake on the Louisiana side except the state part and that's camping.

They were working on putting up a couple cabins around Shady Acres but I don't know if that every happened. There are a couple cabins at Shadey Rest but I've never been inside them and don't know if I could recommend them other than they are always full.

If Drift Inn has cabins, they would be the ones I'd recommend on the Louisiana side, they folks running that place are very nice and customer service is high, I just don't know if they have cabins.

If it were me I'd find a hotel in Blanchard or North Shreveport and suck up the 10-20 minute drive.
