Hello it is my first post and I need help. I have three rods setup right now. On my Crankbait rod I have Revo Winch 2gen 5.4:1 I think 22 IPT. On my worm and jig rod I have a Revo SX 3gen 6.4:1 26 IPT,  and on my frog rod I have a KK Speed demon pro 9.3:1 35.2 IPT. Here is my issue I came across a great condition Revo MGXtreme 7.1:1 28 IPT for $200 so I picked it up. What should I do with it? Change out one of my reels with it? Use it for a different technique (if so what one)?  Please help

Remove KK Speed demon pro 9.3:1 35.2 IPT
Add Revo MGXtreme 7.1:1 28 IPT

Place KK Speed demon pro 9.3:1 35.2 IPT on injured reserve list.  ;)

MGXTreme on the frog rod
KK speed demon on jig and worm rod.
Find another cranking or spinnerbait rod for the SX.

Zippy I like that idea. For the SX any specific spinner rod you would suggest

Any of the Dobyns 734 rods. My favorite for spinnerbaits is the Sierra series. But all the others will work great.

MH power and fast action I like a longer rod for long casts and then a short one for pitching them.

The reason I like a Dobyns 734 is the amount of tip action. Yes it is a fast action but has a longer amount of tip that moves allowing for the bass to get a good hold of the bait. But yet has lots of power to drive the big single hook home.
The Sierra series has a little more tip action than the rest of the Dobyns that is why the SA734c is my favorite spinnerbait rod.

Most MH fast action rods will work but many are not rated correctly.

I have an ABU Garcia Villain in MH/F and I would not use it for anything but heavy cover techniques. It is a real broomstick. a sensitive one though.

What to look for is some tip action with a good backbone. Any rods that are rated for the weights you want to use and feels like it has some give will work.

Has anyone had any experience with the new KK speed demon pro rods? I would like to get my hands on some different rods but I only have a few places around that has rods. It is like 70 miles or so to BPS.
