I know I'm bringing up an old thread, but I have to say something...

I'm getting the itch to order another one of these. Mine has been treating me so well and I love how it performs.

They do look good. I personally like my 14Scorpion better overall though. Lou is loving that MGL

I never fell in love with the I series. I had two and a 14 Scorpion, and they were good, reliable reels, but they didn't overly impress me. At the time, I much preferred the ci4 Chronarch.

I also want to try the new Tatula Elite, but lately I find myself leaving my Daiwa's at home and only taking my Shimano's with me. So I'm torn on what to get next.

They are sweet reels no doubt. I'm enjoying mine.

The I series reels turned out to be great workhorse reels for me. Maintain them well and they don't quite on you.
