Bought a Lew's baitcaster (Tournament) a few years ago, but really didn't use it much

I now wanted to play with the brake settings to enhance the experience

Upon opening palm cover, I find 4 (not 6) adjustment "tabs"

I note that if I move one of the tabs to the outside, that the "arm" pops up, but it will not stay extended - seems to be "spring loaded"

When I do this to "turn it off", the tab "clicks" into place. This does not happen when moving the tabs "out" - so I am guessing that the particulkar "brake" is not engaged

I am a bit hesitant to press hard to get it to click - but it does this on all brakes.

Any advice ? help ?

THANKS

If they "click" off, then when you put it the other way it should "click" on. Maybe the "click" isnt as noticeable on the "on"? Anyways, they are spring assisted, and wont just stay out when "clicked" on. They only extend with centrifugal force.
