Be careful my friend there will be no one else out there when you go.
Appreciate the concern George. LMG and I go to the same ramp all the time because of the lighting. With the trips we have taken so far, we have been the only boat out there the whole outing.

I thought this might be interesting, especially for Lou. Itís the Stanford hallow frog with frog fur. A fancy name for Velcro lol The purpose is that it makes it harder for the bass to spit out the frog since the Velcro will catch on to the teeth.

I think I will stick on a patch of Velcro to one of my frogs and try it out lol

The idea is good the frog sucks. I bought it and caught 3 fish on it and the frog was trash after. No piece of Velcro is worth that.

Appreciate the thought Roberto. Rick tried one these frogs out a couple of years ago. He didn't have very good things to say about them so I stayed cleared of them. Thanks again.

Yup, I donít think a frog with just that. But I will stick a sliver of Velcro on a live target frog

Better frog with bonus feature

As the weekend approaches where is everyone headed to fish?

I'm heading out to the glades with Rick. See what I can figure out with all this rain we have been having lately. Water should be moving somewhere.

Water is up a couple of inches this week. Josh an I will probably do the same search as Lou. Work our way into Kissimmee and try to find some moving water.

Based on the weather patterns this week, early morning seems to be the ticket before all hell breaks loose in the late morning or afternoon hours.

Ok, this will be my first weekend of serious fishing.

New boat is  registered. Spotlight, deck lights, box lights installed. All electronics registered and updated. One install left, power pole anchor light, but it is on backorder until late June/early July.

Fishing PCMH 5 tomorrow. Looking for big bites.

Good luck to everyone and please watch the weather. Lightning is no joke.

Congrats. Very nice! I want an Ultrex but no reason to replace a brand new MG X5i. Hope your batteries are in good shape. They burn through them in spot lock.

Auto deploy probably. I saw a guy launch his boat like someone was in it. It drifted to the middle of the river. Walked up to the dock with the Ulterra remote and drove it over to pick himself up. Very cool.

Iím replacing an ultrex which is an awesome Tm. Lots of power, but even with the spring assist, deploying takes a toll on my back.  It also adjusts height with the remote which is great with the shallow water we have right now.

The deciding factor is the ability to control it from anywhere on the boat. I can put my clients on the front when Iím guiding.

Iím taking off a 3 year old 36v 101 ft lb ultrex Iíll cut you a deal on.  Youíll probably have to add a battery though.

I was looking at new boats but the 65k sticker shock got to me. Instead I decided to rehab my 11 year old Triton. Itís mechanically sound just needs some updates. The TM was first. Next Iím going to wrap it and replace the torn carpet with sea deck.

I think with some updates/upgrades  your boat will be set.
