You guys all have a great time with this.  I'll be up in Alaska visiting my son and his family 28 Jun - 8 July.  He did mention something about a possible fishing trip during our visit  ~shade

I'll get in on this if the new reel gets here before then. If so, I'll be using a Shimano Bantam MGL XG, Hammer 7'3(now 7ft, lol) H rod, and 20lb Stren magnathin. I'll pitch craw baits, spook the topwaters, and swim the Ultra Vibe Speed Worm.

That would be a cool outing. Only 2 rods on the boat? Weird. Lol

Lol... considering we bring around 10 rods, 2 rods will be weird. Although I usually use one rod anyways... lol!! ;)

That will be one of those times you wait for an empty ramp to load the boat up. ~shhh

He makes me put a towel over my head every time we come up to the ramp and there is people there. It's very strange...

Sounds fun but I'd probably tie a 1/2oz jig onto my GLX  894 and never switch it up. Half the reason I have so many rods is because I'm to lazy to retie

Same reason here plus it means more fishing time.

IF I do this, do you have to catch 3 fish on 3 baits or how does the scoring work

Just use three different techniques and write a review in the rod, reels and fishing line forums. No fish catches required.

I'm down for this one. I'll be using my Champion 734C with 15lb fluoro on one of my Shimano's. Probably a Chronarch or Scorpion. As for baits, I'll probably be throwing a swimbait, dragging a jig, and some sort of topwater or shallow crankbait.

When this over I hope you see a therapist for this abnormality Zip. Fishing with just 1 outfit, has to be a screw loose somewhere, don't believe I'm going to try it. j~w j~w

I will have my cutters around my neck and a few select baits set out just like rods on the deck. Heck it might be easier.

While I have questioned your sanity I also have to question mine for participating. lo Since I'll be sitting most of the time(hate it) I'll have to move to a spot next to the storage locker to change out baits but everything will be at hand. It looks like tomorrow will be the bst day for me to get out, the weather is iffy for Friday and Saturday.
May everyone who is involved catch a new PB!!!

I'm in. I'll be using a Dobyns Extreme 743, with a Lews Team Lite, and 15lb fluoro. I'll throw a shakey head worm, finesse jig, and a Strike Kind 3XD.

I was really looking forward to getting out this weekend for the challenge but the weather just would not cooperate with me. The past week we have had scattered thunderstorms pop up with heavy downpours and thunder and lightning. I can handle some rain but I don't take chances when it comes to lightning.

I use to do a lot of bank fishing at small lakes and ponds and back then I only had 1 or 2 decent outfits so it was nothing for me to fish a topwater,a spinnerbait and T-rig with the same rod and reel.
Now days I like having 3 - 5 setups ready to go so I don't waste precious time having to tie on different baits

I think this was a great idea for a challenge, sometimes it's good to get back to some basics and just fish.
