Finally got the two front rooms done, for now. Still need to replace a sliding door with a window and block, and then start the whole house flooring.

Today will start on the Family Room, but all it needs is the ceiling scraped and painted so it won't be to bad.

I needed a break and took one yesterday. Trouble is I slept almost all day! But I feel a whole lot better this morning. I had got to the point my left shoulder/arm was getting useless and my right hand fingers were going numb, and climbing up and down the ladder was putting a hurting on my hips. Got both of them to "pop" yesterday so they should be good to go again for a bit.

Eventually I will get some Fishing in. Lol.

July 4th Vacation week.

IDK about Lee's work, but when I was growing up a lot of the businesses around us would shut down during the week of July 4th as their "Vacation Week" for the year. That was the only one you got, so you got it then.

I fished 3 hours without a bite and decided to give one of my old tourney spots a shot on the way home. First cast produced the 17” and I was on a pattern that produced 5 fish from 3 spots in 40 min, then it was over.  The summertime bite in Kissimmee is finicky.

I was at Lake Tarpon. First time I have ever fished in the evening there. Winds were out of the west north west so there was no where to hide.

Wrapping up the trip to the city today and flying home in a couple of hours.

Had a great time with all the “kids” (ages 21-29). I started exposing my two to new experiences when they were 4 and 7 with a trip to DC. I wanted them to see places before they learned about them in school.

Amy starts her PhD next month and I wanted to get one more in before it was too late and life got in the way of all of us going somewhere together.

Amy and I had dinner Friday and a show yesterday afternoon by ourselves but had some or all of them doing stuff with us the rest of the time. They could do whatever they wanted but it was cool that they chose to hang out with the “old people” most of the time.

Think I've found my summer pattern ... finessing flukes near deep water. Damn, it's painful to fish slow, though.

Slow fishing in the summer requires a boat load of patience. Good luck out there Barry. So far your strategy seems to be paying off.

Well I got my Neck MRI Results yesterday and their not real good. It would seem Arthritis is determined to just take over my Spinal System.

I had it cleaned out and Titanium Spacers put in 3 years ago come December from the C4-C5, C5-C6, C6-C7 on the left and C5-C6, C6-C7 on the right. He didn't do the C4-C5 on the right because the bone spurs had grown together forming a Bridge and he was afraid to try and break it due to being worried about the entire "wing" breaking off.

Now it has come back with a Vengeance. The short version is from the C4 to the C7 is bad on the right and some on the left, with the C6-C7 being so closed off it is considered the Severe Level on Both Sides. That is why my left shoulder has been Tingling for oh, 8 months or so, and at times the pain gets so bad I will cry out if I happen to roll onto it while sleeping and my neck gets so stiff I can barely move it to look up.

Plan for now is to try getting some Shots similar to what I get in my low back to relieve some of the Inflammation and Pain.

Really hope that works, as I really don't want to have another Surgery Done unless I have to. I have a very high tolerance for pain but that last one hurt like He'll with any movement at all.

So for now the Dr says to limit my doing any Overhead Work (like removing the rest of the popcorn ceiling and painting it) and anything else that causes me pain. Thankfully I got the worst of it done and only have small parts to do at any one time. Bit by Bit I'll get it done.

Today I'm going Fishing and forget about Life for awhile.

Thanks man. First Light wasn't into it 10 minutes and had the first Fish of the day in the boat on a Frog. First Frog Fish this year for me. Had a Baby Gator want that Frog bad, but I wouldn't let him/her catch it. After that one hit, Nothing.

I fished for 4-5 hours and tried a bunch of stuff but no bites at all.

Then I decided to grab a bite to eat and relax a bit, so I tried what I had read in her this week, Trolling with Cranks. Wasn't doing that very long in the deeper water away from the Pads and Boom 1st Fish, the 16.5 hit. (I had what I thought was a great hit that broke me off but I found after checking and hitting it again there was a log or something way out there on the bottom).

Kept at it and Boom the 3rd fish of the day. Thought maybe I was onto something, So I basically worked my way around the 7-8 ft range and set my Unit on a 3-way Screen so i could see Side/Down/Mapping. I learned quite a bit about that Lake and I thought I knew it well. I found an area that on the Down looked like a Hole in the Ground and like Pock Marks on the Side. This was in 7 ft of water a long way from any Cover. I've never been able to figure this lake out when it comes to the Bass Spawn and I'm wondering now if they do it further Off Shore than they do in most Lakes. The Bottom on that Side is covered with a Black Muck and always have been since I started fishing it. As I kept at it I found more areas like it all off shore in 7-8 ft of water.

I have talked with a few other guys that fish that Lake and they to have told me that they have never been able to figure out the Spawn on it. Might have just stumbled onto a Bedding Field.

By noon I had had enough of the heat and packed it in.

Really cool find and sounds like a successful outing. Anytime a light bulb goes off it is far batter than the numbers that day.
