Well I might as well hang out under the bridge. Storms coming in from the east.  I'd be stupid to load the boat up and drive into the storm, when I can sit here and see if the fish react a bit. I'll be dry under the bridge at least. Lol.

How was it???

It started out like this.....

Driving to the ramp, I can see lightning and dark clouds. F it, Im going anyways, it should be already past that area.

I get there, clouds are circling the area, with lightning.

I launch and head south, it looks like its gonna clear up.

Wind shifts, starts blowing from the east, and dark clouds and lightning are coming with it.

830, and Im under the bridge, lightning cracking all around me.

1030, its clear enough that I run south again, as west is still really nasty, and there is nothing happening.

1100, F it, Im heading back to the ramp, im too tired for this chit.  lo

Well I feel the frustration, Mother Nature can really be a PITA.  I know the moon was not coming up until you left.  Great effort, I hope you caught a few nice ones.  Thanks for the report.

Oh, and lost a nice big one under the bridge when dragging a worm to test the sensitivity of the ARK rod. Its sensitive, and the fish won that battle.  lo

The moon was out at about the 845 mark. Was nice and high by 1030.

@ Flats, my wife surprised me with a bug tamer's jacket for my birthday.. sneaky lady..  lo
She had it delivered to her job, so I won't be trying out for a little while, but I'm looking forward to fishing with it before summer ends.  :) Thanks again for the suggestion Steve.  ~beer~

Great Lou! I know that you'll like it.  Keep your Thermacell running when you wear it and it will keep the buzzing noise to a minimum. They can't bite through but will swarm you anyway. Looking forward to hearing your review.
