What is the difference in the SS SV103 vs the now discontinued SV103  ?

SS SV is based on the Steez platform, and the SV103 is based on the TD Zillion platform.

OK Thanks.  So in reality the steez platform is the only one available in today's marketplace?

Yes. But the current Steez TW reels are different than the OG Steez reels. The SS SV is based on the OG Steez.
