Your Son is on a ROLL!!! Congrats to him once again.

He has been killing it. He made a big step with frog and jig fishing this year. Itís fun for me to watch him. A lot of times Iíll just sit in the back seat dragging a worm and run the TM with the remote talking about strategies.

He thinks weíre only talking about fishing. He doesnít yet know that weíre talking about life as well.

Absolutely. That's one of things I really enjoy about fishing with my youngest daughter, gives us a time to just talk about everything including Life.
It also shows me how much she has grown within herself as a person, and in many cases just how much she is like me. Which is both good and bad.

But I guess overall I turned out "ok" and I'd bet she will be a much better version.

Got into a few fish today. Mostly one here and there.

Nothing huge but three were solid fish.

Got most on spinnerbait, few on worms, and one on crank.

Fred, are you back on the river again or are you fishing your outside lakes? The water level has come up 2' in the last week here. We are finally back to a normal level. I went out again a couple of days ago and found a few at the mouths of some feeder creeks that were dumping water into the river. Nothing big though.

I drove by Lake Harris and Eustis on my way to Jacksonville yesterday. I have never seen the water that high. Almost to the top of the sea walls. There have to be some running water bites going on there.

We are having too much rain. I think the fish may be drowning. I worked way too hard for the fish I caught last weekend considering all the moving water.

Fished from 130 to 430 dodging storms and fishing new water.

Boated 6 with several that would have culled my little one. The big one was the last one boated. Lost two other big ones in the pads flipping.
