Any one have any experience with these rods?
« on: August 13, 2019, 06:45:13 AM »

I was given a MHX Tournament Series Rod, does anyone have any experience with this rod series and are willing to share to their thoughts? I chose their MB874, which for our waters, seemed like the best choice.

Iíve never fished their built rods but I build on the MB series blanks.  They are a good middle of the road blank but they donít offer volume discounts to builders so I donít buy many anymore.  I have two 7í mh-f that I use for buzz frogs and swim baits.

The blanks are a little stouter than the rating so your H should have lots of backbone.

That rod should fish comparable to most $100 commercial rods.
