What brand braid are u using?

Well you were with me when I had 4 break offs on 3 different rods in the span of 2 hours........ and it was brand new line.  I've never had that happen with PP so there's that. And if the only good line they sell is their top of the line stuff then they should stop making everything else.

Well, that's kind of harsh. There's a significant difference between Suffix 832 and Performance, IMO. 832 is right up there with Power Pro.

I prefer the Sufix 832 over PP but use both as they are top of the line braid. Not saying that neither have never let a bad spool out but they both overwhelmingly have great followings. Neither would be as successful as they are if the product was a problem. IMHO
