Rented a two man inflatable boat with a hand controlled trolling motor with my buddy for a day on the West Nakdong River in the Busan area. It was a week after a recent typhoon, so the water clarity was next to nothing, but this river is never "clean", so the fish wouldn't have minded.

We had no electronics, so had no idea of the water temps, but for the first time this season, the last night's air temps were below 50*, so it was a cold start for us and I'm sure that also affected the bite.

Fishing was slow in the morning, but once the sun (in the totally cloudless blue skies) got up high, and the air temps reached the upper 70's the bite started to turn on.

Our main pattern for the day was punching heavy matts, and we landed 21 bass between us, but must have had another 30+ bites that we didn't connect with.

No, the Triton is fine. However, there are no ramps on this particular river, only rental inflatables. The main river that I usually fish is still in an unsafe condition following the big typhoon we had last week. Water levels are almost back to normal, but the water color is still a mess and there is all kinds of stuff floating around. I'm hoping I can get one day out next week before I head off to the UK.

Little rigs can be a lot of fun. I haven't played in a small john boat or inflatable in a while. Thanks for the report.

Pretty awesome day Steve! ~c~
I think a simpler day on the water like that can be more relaxing and as you've proven quite productive.
