I got some more questions about the Xtasy.

1.) Would the Xtasy 723c be a better compliment to the Xtasy 755c, than the Xtasy 724c?

2.) Could you throw a 1/4 oz. ned rig or drop shot on the 723c?

3.) Would the Xtasy 723c make a good all around rod or would the Champion XP 734 be better as a grab one and go rod?

4.) Would the Xtasy 723c be a good alternative to replace spinning gear?

My updated list...

Xtasy 723c - (Jigs 3/8oz+ trailer, T-Rigs 1/2oz or under, Senkos, Tubes, Spinnerbaits, 1/4oz Ned Rig?, Drop Shot?)
Xtasy 755c - (Frogs, Jigs and T-Rigs over 1/2oz, Flippin & Pitching, Light Punching)
Champion Glass 705c - (Moving baits 3/4oz and under)
Champion Glass  736c - (Moving baits 3/4oz and over)
Champion XP 734c - (All Around, Grab one rod and go)
Sierra 702sf - (Drop shot, Ned rig, 1/16oz Jig heads, Wacky rig)

November 26, 2019 Update..

I went ahead and got these rods.

Shimano G Loomis Conquest 843c (All Around Casting Rod)
Dobyns Xtasy 755c (Jig & Frog Rod)
Dobyns Extreme HP 702c (Finesse Casting Rod)
Dobyns Champion 704sf (All Around Spinning Rod)
Dobyns Champion Glass 705cb (Moving Bait Rod)
St. Croix Panfish Series 69 UL Spinning (Panfish Rod)
Lew's TP-1 Speed Stick 6'9 ML Spinning (Finesse Spinning Rod)
13 Fishing Defy Black 7'3 Heavy Crankbait Rod (Heavier Moving Bait Rod)
Fenwick HMX 766 Heavy (Frog Rod)

I already just purchased the Fury 703c, the Shimano SLX 7'2 MH/XF, and the Shimano SLX 7'5 H/F.

I don't own any Xtasy rods, I've only tested out Zippy's 755c, but here's what I can comment on.

2. 1/4oz should throw fine on a 723. However, I have found that drop shotting on a casting rod is such a pain compared to a spinning outfit, so I would use a fairy wand for that application.

3. The Champion DC734c is the ultimate do all rod, and I'm sure anyone who has used one will back me up on this.

Line up sounds great, but this looks like a question specifically for Gary, especially with all the Xtasy's in question.

I just got a 724 and a 755 and they are very similar in action. Because the one is shorter, they both come into power about the same. So if more bait options is your goal, I would not be afraid of the 723 complimenting the 755.

I think the 724 is going to handle lighter baits than the 755 but I think that with the 723, when you reach the to much zone it will trade off to the 755 nicely.

Nice. Seeing how you say the 755 and 724 are close in power, I would actually prefer a shorter rod and am now wondering if the 723 would compliment the 724 as nicely as the 755. But, could you throw a frog on the 724?

zippyduck

The baits you have listed for the 723 are going to be also used on other rods on your list.
I would not waste it on a spinnerbait and 3/8+ trailer jigs are going to work on the 755.
The senkos, tubes, and ned rigs will work great on it along with shakey heads.
The dropshot will work a lot better on the spinning rod.

As far as the 724 I would skip it now and get the 723 and 755. The 755 will be your work horse in weeds.

In open water I'm certain the 724 would handle a frog well. It loads into the back bone pretty quick. My concern would be dealing with vegetation, a longer rod is always an advantage in vegetation not to mention the additional power.

I cleaned up at ALF yesterday. I got an Xtasy 755c for jigs/frogs, Extreme 702c for finesse, Champion Glass 705cb for moving baits. I was planning on getting the Xtasy 724c for a long time, but at the checkout, I removed it and replaced it with the 755c, because I think it's going to be a better than the 724c pairing it with my Conquest 843c.

I ended up getting 30% off, paid like $395 for the Xtasy, $240 for the Extreme, and $150 for the Champion Glass, you can't beat that.

I also picked up a slew of other rods to go with my Fury 703c and two Shimano SLX's I recently got.

Dobyns Champion XP Spinning 704sf for $150 from Dicks after a flash sale + 20% off.
St. Croix Panfish Series 6'9 UL for $100 after $20 off a $100 at Fish USA.
Lew's TP-1 Speed Stick 6'9 Medium Light Spinning rod for $65 at Dicks after 20% off.
13 Fishing Defy Black 7'3 Heavy Crankbait rod for deep cranks for $50 at Dicks after 20% off.
Fenwick HMX 7'6 Heavy for $35 from Amazon Lightening Deal.

I also picked up some decent reels besides the recent purchase of the SLX and SLX XT at a good price.
Lew's Tournament MB LFS Speed Spool for $80 at Dicks after a Flash sale + 20% off.
Daiwa Fuego CT for $50 on a Amazon one day sale.
Shimano Sienna Spinning reel for $25.
Daiwa QR750 Spinning reel for $20.

I may or may not catch more than the 500 fish I caught this year with an Ugly Stik Gx2, but it will for sure be more enjoyable.

I already received my Dobyns rods today. I put rod sleeves on all of them and went to pick them up to put them away and thought I was picking up the Extreme 702c ML, but after looking it was actually the Xtasy 755c. They are very light and the balance is perfect as always and the looks are amazing. I knew the Xtasy and Champion XP were going to be attractive, but the Extreme HP exceeded my expectations. The Xtasyy 755c is even lighter than the Champion Glass 705cb. I can't wait to actually fish with them, but it might be awhile, there's 30 mph winds out there today in Ohio. Until the weather gets better, I'll be just staring at them in awe. I will post some pictures of them once I take some, and I'll most likely do a video review of them after I fish with them a full season. Thanks again for everyone's help.

You are welcome. What part of Ohio are you from? I am in Western Pa.

I have some sitting in my Tackle Warehouse cart along with the Conquest 843c. For now I'm leaving the plastic on them until it's time to fish again.

Kayaking Kev

I ended up going with the Xtasy 723c instead of the Conquest, I couldn't resist getting another one for $395. This is now my current Dobyns lineup.
