Looking for some recommendations for hard jerk baits. All of my fishing is from the bank and probably will need shallow ones. Looking for a few that will not break the bank. Water is semi-clear to muddy.

Smithwick Rouge.

I like the Chrome with a touch of Orange on the bottom of the neck.

no arguments.  BUT suspending jerks can be tough to toss as a bank angler?

Never had a problem fishing from the bank with them. Even in weedy lakes.

Me either. But I throw mine on braid so I can rip 'em free on the rare occasion I get one snagged.

Well, The best is the vision 110. If you don't want to spend that kind of $ I'd go with the Mc Stick or Pointer.
I fished the 6th sense Provoke some last year and liked it and it's reasonably priced. The Ozark juice color worked well for me.

Trying some H2O jerk baits and Smitchwick Rogue. These didn't break the bank. Decent price from Academy and free shipping.

The Rogue is still a good bait. I still have a few that are in the rotation but they usually take some tuning to get them to suspend depending on the water temp.
A suspend dot or some weight on the hook shanks usually does it .

Academy's H2O Line of baits are pretty dang good. The hooks are strong and sharp.

Good Luck.

I too am a Megabass man, but no way would I fish them from the bank. The Academy H2O baits are very good. Also the  6th Sense Provoke 106 is great and not very $$. Also do yourself a favor and get an original Rapala floater size 11. Deadly bait around the shore

Takin it EZ

These baits have caught more jerks than any other
