Claytor Lake Largemouth
« on: October 29, 2019, 04:23:09 PM »

Turns out there's still at least one quality largemouth in Claytor. 4lbs 2oz and on a Nutech ProJig Elite.

Thought the first bump was another Bluegill, 2nd bump was no Bluegill so I set the hook. It was a nice fight that wrapped around a  laydown. Thought he had the actually gotten off until I trolled over and pulled him down the length of the limb.

Bigger than anything from SML and anything we put in the boat at Big G. That's pretty sad.

To add to the joyous moment, my Ultrex worked perfectly. Ran it up to 10 and stayed on it for 5 or 10 minutes without any issues. :toot:

Nice bass :toot:

Never worry about loosing a bass on a NuTech, we call in jewelry around here. If a bass brakes you line and you were using a NuTech... It now has a lip ring for life. NuTech Jigs don't let go...
