Now that some parts of the country are starting to freeze over. Are there any ice fisherman here, and by ice fisherman, I mean walk onto a frozen lake, drill a hole in the ice and fish from it. Any fish pics from previous winters you can share?

I use to when I was younger and in better health. I still have me old La Cross ice boots that keep your feet warm to 40 degrees below. Now I put them on when I'm going out to sholve snow.

In Texas if its iced over more than 1/4 inch no one here is thinking about a fish. Except maybe a northern transplant in which case he/she wont try walking out on the ice but once, our ice is extremely thin.  lo

No ice here in western PA yet. Water is still holding around 40*.

I don't ice fish but I usually try to go out at least once or twice a winter and walk out and talk the to the ice guys and see how they're doing.
