Bayou

Finally caught a break. Mrs. Bayou and I were finally able to get to the Houseboat for a few days. After a work day. We were able to celebrate Christmas on the bayou before I had to go back to work the Holidays. Banana Nut Bread for our Bayou friends on Summerlin Bayou.
We did manage to get in an afternoon of fishing. Just fished the bayou. Caught about 12, with 5-4 being legal. Zoom June Bug Worm was the bait of choice. Tried to fish deep, but got our bites fishing in the shallows for the most part.

Good luck pullin' them in!

Sounds like you and the wife had a good time. Sorry to hear work cut it short. Glad you got to catch some of our green friends though.  ~c~

Hopefully, will be headed back this next weekend. Always, work on the ole Houseboat, but should be able to squeeze in a bit of fishing!
