Bluff Creek
« on: January 09, 2020, 07:41:04 AM »

Finally got on the water yesterday after almost a month and had a good day. Clear skies, dead low tide early, air temps 38-62, water temps 48.5 to 55 depending on location and the river is just under flood stage causing the creek to muddy up on the lower 2 miles. Caught 10 with 7 being 14-17", biggest was caught on a 45+year old Cordell Spot that was chrome in its prime but now bone with a coat of my special nail polish and most caught on a chatter bait. Had cataract/glaucoma surgery on the left eye last week and have the right eye done next week so I'll be laid up for a while again so maybe the river will drop and let the water clear.

Awesome that you got out between surgeries, sorry to hear that you need the procedures. I've heard it's amazing afterward thought.

Thanks for the report, keep us posted if you get out again.

Dedicated! Glad to hear that the Creek is producing some nice fish... Hoping to get back on it in two weeks.
Lots to do at the ole Houseboat as well, but will squeeze in some bassing time!
