My nephew showed me this ole girl yesterday that "pawpaw" (my dad) had rigged up for him to practice/learn with.

Anyone else still have one? Still using one?

I've had a couple run across the bench but virtually impossible to fix, unless I can manufacture a spring or sand the bushings. Externally that one looks like it might still work well.

I like the High Speed 5:1.1 gear ratio

Haven't had one of those since back in the mid 80's.  It's history now.  Like Mike mentioned it was almost impossible to work on.

I don't know that this one's ever been taken apart or cleaned...

probably best now to not clean it.. kinda like transmissions that haven't ever been flushed and
have over 100k on them... better to just leave them alone... lol
