Decided to just go ahead and do it. Been eying this reel for a few years. The talk of the quality, and the fact that the palming side is just like the ole Conquest 50...well...it no doubt is. This thing is really nice! Smooth as hell, and everything "clicks", which having a clicking cast control adjustment is rare for Shimano. I'm gonna get this reel spooled with 40lb braid and sling some baits with it this weekend. Cant wait to get it on the water!

I've heard this are amazing and will make a low profile guy think about switching to round reels.

Keep us posted on how it fishes. ~c~

So I brought the reel with me to work today. 40lb braid, 4/0 hook, and a fluke. This reel can sail a bait effortlessly! The retrieve is the smoothest I have ever felt in a reel. Alls I gots to say is holy $h!t!
