This is the first classic I have been involved in, I might need some help understanding the rules for the team tournament, dates / duration, etc.

Just catch fish in October like you normally would. Mrs Zippy will decide teams (1 from each division) in some random fashion and we will compete as teams for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Having not worked for the last 12 months has really helped with my fishing. That's all going to change next month when I start work again

There are plenty of good sticks in the classic that could easily surpass what I have currently, and they could do it in just one outing
