Pure Fishing Buys Hooker Electric Reels

Got an email about this last night as part of my Select Angler program notifications.

They make electric reels primarily for saltwater anglers. They have a solid reputation in the Salt industry and Pure Fishing has pledged to make no changes to the reels or the quality of customer service their past customers have received.

Personally, I remain a bit skeptical about that statement seeing what they have done to some of ny favorite brands in the past. I guess only time will tell.
