Hey guys. I normally bass with a daiwa zillion tws & whatever rod I'm planning on for the day.

I'd like to switch it up and try using exclusively a smaller ultra sized spinning reel & rod. It's been a while since I looked at or purchased a new setup but I hold onto my stuff so spending good money on a setup isn't a problem. I tend to want to spend more on the reel than the rod. I will run braid on it.

Maybe look at some Major Craft rods like the Speed Style.  I've read their rods offer a lot for your money.  Well built and nice looking rods.  I bought a Benkei 6'7" LF for trying drop shot.  Nice looking rod that has only been on the water once so far.  No fish caught on it yet.   :'(
