So found out today that the Fred Roubanis line of Dobyns Rods are on clearance! The rods at my local store were marked down anywhere from $70-100. They are Champion rods but green colored. Of course I HAD to get one lol...

Is Fred not with Dobyn's anymore? That rod series isn't very old.

Gary sent out some information on FB that Fred is still with Dobyns, just getting rid of the line as it didn't sell well enough to continue with it.

Copy, thanks for the info. I'll keep checking academy to see how far they'll lower the price. I did get the 705CB today though!

These are 3 of the models that they had at my local store. Plus a 743S spinning rod and the 705CB that I bought and didn't see another of.
