Wind...............out of the east 10 to 25 MPH
Sky................cloudy with light rain
Time...............5:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Temp..............70 and falling as night comes on
Water temp......upper 60 degree range

Fish under these conditions it was even hard to catch even small ones, out of 9 boats only 12 legal fish where caught. Most ranging in the one to two pound size limit. My fish weighing in at 4.07 was caught on a c-rig with a FLW light purple worm in ten feet of water. The worm needed to be set on the bottom for a minute or two then move lightly twice to get it to hit it. Of course this was not found out till the end of the tournament. Most other fish where caught on slow moving rig in the same range of depth.
