Legends...WOW!!!
« on: February 27, 2007, 03:54:15 PM »

My dad and I had the pleasure of going out and taking a demo ride in an Alpha 199 with Randy, the president of Legend Boats.  Needless to say, the ride sold us, and made our which brand to buy decision alot easier..

Form what we say and experienced form the demo ride, a Legend is almost identical to a Champion, from the layout, to the ride (actually alot better than the CHamp!!)

Hopefully we will be making the trip down to C&O Marine to look at a 21'er, and bring it home!!!!!

We took the demo ride after the Day two launch of the classic...and it took the waves and wind good, and was as easy to drive as my Ford Explorer!!!  in fact, Randy was driving it with one fingure to show how easy it was.

CJ,

I hope you realize that you aren't driving down there to look at the 21 footers.  You might as well get on the web site and pick out which one you two want now, just to save you some time.

Yeah...we have already done that!!!  The guy from C&O actually whipped out his laptop and we looked at the boats whiule sitting in the 199 they had on display.

We are gonna get a Merc Pro XS motor, so it kinda narrowed down the boats we could pick from, but then C&O said he would be able to swap out motors for us if he needed to.  So far, it seems that C&O has awesome customer service!

Well, I had hopes that I would be the first Legend owner that I knew of in Ohio, but the wife wins this round.  We're buying a house this spring and I know it will be my turn soon enough.  I'm not too hip on buying a house.  Why would I be?  Just means I'll have to cut the damn grass.

I figure next year around boat show time I should be in the market.  If not, I'm not going to be happy about it.  Still, I'm happy for you and your Dad CJ.  Blaise (OH) speaks very highly of you, and I hope you take this passion for fishing and do something with it.
