Wacky rig tip
« on: March 22, 2007, 09:34:16 AM »

Are you sick and tired of losing your "Wacky rigged" worm after catching 2 or 3 fish ???? Then give this little tip a try.

All you need is;
Some worms that you like to use for Wacky Rigging and some electrical "heat shrink" and a ciggerette lighter.

Next, cut a piece of the heat shrink in your desired color to about 1/2" maximum (or whatever size you prefer). I like anywhere between 1/4 and 1/2 inch.
Slide this piece of heat shrink to the point where you would normally insert your hook and using the lighter, heat up the heat shrink until it had fully closed onto your worm. You just place your hook into the middle of the heat shrink, then all you need to do is go fishing.

I fished last Sunday in my boat with one guy from my Bass Club. We were both fishing wacky rig, but he was using the above method and I was using only a hook and worm. We both caught about the same amount of fish, but he only used one worm to my 3~4 worms.

This tip will cost you almost nothing, but over a season will save you $$$$$$$$$

I have added a few extra words, and underlined them for ease.
