Land of 10,000 lakes - so many lakes and so little time.  What is your favorite bass lake or river?  If you have one for smallies and one for largies - list two lakes or rivers.

Have any of you fished Minnetonka lately?  Just wondering how it has been producing.

The Mississippi river has  produced many, both, largemouth and smallmouth bass for me in the past. Above Grand Rapids  has been one of my favorite places to fish for years..........Leech Lake is another that has a lot of largemouths and its one of my favorite places. There are so many lakes in MN that a person can't possibly fish them all.....believe me I've tried!   .......Henry

I like Clearwater lake in Annandale for largemouth. Tons of structure and many different ways to fish.

For smallmouth nothing beats the mighty Mississippi. Although Millacs is a close second. There are some HOGS in there!

Largemouth lake would probably be Minnewashta(sp?)

Smallmouth lake would be Vermillion and St. Croix River.

I don't get around much to different lakes cause of school & work, but my favorite is Lake Le Homme Dieu in Alex.

Little Elk Lake up by Hoffman in the Alexandria area, had some great bass fishing up there just using a tiny t spinnerbait or a beetle spin in white or yellow/black.
