The summer time bite still hot on the Parker Strip. Catch rates of 30 Smallmouth a day are not uncommon. Work chunk rock banks with heavy current with soft plastics and jerkbaits. Fish grass beds in current with spinnerbaits and top waters early and late. The best colors right now are Aaron's Magic, Chartreuse Pepper, Mourning Dawn, and Berkley Purple. Jerkbaits in Crome with Orange Bottom work early and late, switch to a clear "GHOST" color in the afternoon. White with a touch of chartreuse on spinnerbaits is hard to beat.
