Thinkin Bout pullin the Cap off my Gambler (HELP!!!!)

Howdy ya'll,

      Thinkin bout pullin the cap off of my 91' 183. I want to get in and check out all the pumps and so forth and see what the damage is from the
previous owner pullin' the front fuel tank i can see where he cut the hoses and stuff. I also want to make the T-motor a little more secure. Anyway I am trying to find out what all i have to do in order to get the top cap or deck or whatever you wanna call it, off of my gambler. Thanks for the help..

you have to pull the top cap to do all that??
