wiggle rig??

The one question I had, was why was it introduced by mojo, then they dropped out??  I will probably be purchasing a kit first thing tomorrow btw.  It's a great lookin rig!

I showed it to my wife, she is picking up the cord from the fabric shop (guess woman use this stuff alot). I am going to try to make my own tonight. The problem seems to be attaching the cord to the swivel. A few  and I'll get it to work.

Regular elastic, one that does not require a huge weight, breaks at 3 Oz, you will constantly be trying to re-rig, if you even are able to cast it.

I don't want you to be a patent infringer,, email me your mailing address and I will send them to you for free, anyone who can't afford them, I will give them away to them. All they have to do is email me, I'll do this until, it forces me out of business

Sure can't and it really shows how Standout believes in his product.  I was going to go to the fabric shop myself just to try, but now I won't be.

Said they were made from Spectra fiber, the same fiber that is used for Power pro and spiderwire stealth braids, but that seems contradictory because neither of those have any stretch.

But It's not,, When I asked Honeywell, the maker of all Spectra fiber, if I could make an elastic out of it, they said it was impossible,, I liked that answer, I called my patent attorney, and said "patent it". I knew something Honeywell didn't, the out side braid does not stretch in elastic, it's the rubber on the inside, the outside braid is a loose braid, that draws tight when the rubber stretches, limiting the stretch of the inner rubber, stopping it before the rubber breaks.

These "are" made with Spectra, and because it is the only elastic made that way, and requires special runs to be manufactured, it cost me a fortune

Get the Long Pole kits, those "reusable" lock swivels go into any slip weight, you bend the pole to put a spring resistance inside the weight, the swivel slips out of the weight before the material or you line breaks,, you just slip on another "cheap" weight. Anytime your fishing something in the rocks, your going to snag,, even that Rock Hopper Weight I invented for Mojo,, although it does come through better than any other weight

I sure didn't want to own a company,, but things kinda forced me into one,, I invent,, that's all I want to do, not to run some company. The StandOut hooks, I invented them, but TTI makes and sells them. I licensed the hook to them.

Well this is the 2nd time other companies have messed up the Wiggle rig, or done other things that voided their agreements. I decided it was just too good of a rig, to let bad things keep happening to.  I may fail with this, but not because it does not work better than any other soft plastic rig ever used, or even dreamed of.

Let me tell everyone, this rig does "nothing" to your lures, it "allows" you to do nearly anything with them.  It takes practice to get where you can catch any fish, any time. You still have to choose lures, and colors, and most importantly,, you must fish, where there are fish

It's going to be tough for me, it's like starting from scratch 5 years ago.

Hay I never thought of a group like this for R&D,, That's not a bad idea, I have always done most of my testing, and I'm a lot tougher on a new product than any fisherman would be,  but you know maybe some guys could see something I can't.

Let me tell you what I look for in the R&D stage of designing tackle, I want to know everything that's "WRONG" with it, anytime I ask for an evaluation on a new product, (one that is in the development stage), The people are "only" allowed to tell me what's wrong with it,, they are not allowed to tell me what they like. Then I either design around the flaws, or weigh the benefits against the flaws, if they can't be designed away,, if the benefits are not 10 times greater than the flaws,, I chunk the whole thing , and never look back.

I have 27 other terminal tackle inventions on my computer, and built into proto types, SpecTastic Tackle is going to be bringing some of these out, as the money starts coming in. I'm going to need a lot of tackle "testers"
