Pflueger Purist and Bass Pro Rick Clunn Reels

Got two new reels this weekend at Bass Pro. Just bought them because they were on sale and needed two more reels and didn't want to spend a ton. Anyway anbody used any of these. Have not had a chance to try them they are stil in the box.

I haven't tried them myself but have talked with folks that have.  The Purist seems to get good reviews but the Clunn has been mixed.  I was thinking of trying out a Clunn myself if I can ever get down to BPS to pick one up.

Im not 100% sure on this but the Clunn might be made by Pinnacle. I just bought a Platinum Plus for $45 at Academy and I like it alot. Pretty smooth and casts good. Its a 100 so its small and light and the ring gear housing and crank dont sit too low-a big pet peeve of mine.
