Picked up my new Legend from the factory on Thursday.  Fogy went with me and got a tour of the operation...even got him in a Legend T-shirt and cap, thanks to the Legend folks.  ;D  It is very difficult to explain the customer service that these guys provide.  Everyone in the factory came by and spoke, offered to help with anything we needed, and were just the friendliest folks around.  They did everything possible to make sure everything was perfect.  We went back by the factory on our way out of town on Friday and several of the employees came out to the parking lot to see if they could help with anything, to see how our boat ride went the afternoon before, and wish me the best with the new Legend.

The new Legend is a 2008 Alpha 211 with a Mercury 225 ProXS; 36 volt Motorguide Trolling Motor; Lowrance 520C units with GPS at both the console and up front; and just basically fully loaded.  The colors are silver fade to charcoal gray, with red stripe and black pin fade to black stripe with red pin.  Got the 1st hour of break in done on Bull Shoals Lake in Arkansas Thursday...working to get all my stuff back in it.  I'm ready to get it out on the water.  lo

Here are a few pictures of my new ride.  ;D  ;D  ;D

I was thinking the same thing but can't wait for more cold weather testing.  Corks got a 27 pitch on a 250 pro XS and Noble has a 26 pitch on a 225 pro XS so the hole shot for Noble might make up for the top end of the corks on these small lakes we got.    :-*

I am waiting to see some numbers.  ;) ;D

Mike Noble

And I might carry 100 pounds less in fishing tackle.  lo

I want to see number difference between the 2 hulls LE and alpha with same motor.  ;)

Mike Noble

Here is a preliminary number during the break-in on Bull Shoals lake Thursday...with me and Fogy in the boat but no equipment.  At 5200 rpms, I was running 63.6 mph.  Motor was only trimmed up enough to allow the rpms to reach 5200.

Awesome looking boat!

How do you like that tackle butt seat?

Mike Noble

I had a tackle butt seat on my first Legend also...and I really like it.  I was carrying all 4 boxes, but now just carry 2 boxes in the tackle butt seat.  I have spinnerbait trailers and texas rig worm supplies.  It makes the very handy.
