Fly-fished Bear Creek Res on Friday afternoon. Wind was ferocious, so I stayed on the North side. 2 small trout on green Woolly Boogers on sinking line. Conditions, 2 days ahead of a major snow storm, cold (45) and windy...

Where are we going...and why are we in this hand basket???

Tough fishing conditions for a fly rod, what kind of things do you do to help when it is so windy. I guess the sinking line is part of it?

That seems to help...casting down wind and roll casting. We were pretty much slow trolling.
