Here are the results for the Lock Jaw Bass Club tournament on  Lake Vernon: 1st place went to Darrel Duhon with 2 fish weighing 4lbs 11 ozs.  2nd palce went to me with 5 fish weighing 4lbs 11 ozs.  3rd place went to Charles Duhon with 2 fish weighing 3lbs 15 ozs.  big bass went to Jimmy Brown with a bass that went 3lbs 10ozs.

The tie breaker for first place went to Darrel for having the biggest fish between him and I.

Jimmy caught the biggest bass of the tournament with only 30 minutes left to fish. That just shows that you should never give up.

Vernon Lake is a slot lake with that slot being 14inches to 17 inches. It seemed that most anglers who caught lots of fish just couldn't find any over the slot, and those who caught fish over the slot could not find numbers.

The next tournament is scheduled for Toledo Bend. Good Luck and bring lots of water, this one is going to be hot.
