I have been using spinning reels for 40+ years and just came across this term.  What does it mean?  :embarassed:

not for sure if it this or not but here goes,
On some of my spinning outfits there is feature that allows the bail to stop directly below finger trigger. so it has 3 postions, 1. on (bail stops anywhere) 2. off(freespoiling either direction) and 3. centering. This allows the spoil/bail to rotate back to center for trigger finger pick up, example: snapshot reels

hope this helps and if this is something different guys just correct me. Maybe there is a new technique I've not heard of trying yet.
