LE-186
« on: May 07, 2008, 11:39:02 AM »

Can some of you Legend guys and gals give me some info on the 186 I'm going to try and buy a boat at the end of this year and I am considering the LE-186 with a 200 on it. I haven't had the time to go and talk with the dealer since the closest one is 3 hour away. Thanks.

BassBuff recently purchased that exact set-up. He may be able to give you more exact info on it, but if there are questions you have about the Legends in general, just post up, we'll be glad to help.

What info are you looking for?  I haven't been in one or seen one run, but I have the specifics on the LE-185.

BassBuff has the Alpha-195, w/200hp.

I've spoken with some of the dealer guys from R&R marine from TX, all they said is that it is a little rocket. Sports car of the bass boat world.  :)

Thanks for the info guy Mike I was wondering about the ride and maybe how it was to drive of it not to many 18' boats with 200 on them. I've looked at all the spec's on the legend web site but the close dealer is so far away. I guess I will just have to load up and go over and look at one.

Can't believe I missed this thread!

Just for the record I have the LE195 w/200 Opti. I LOVE this boat. Some of the bigger boats will take me on a flat out run but if you put some curves in there then I'll come out ahead!

I was torn between the 186 and 195 when I was researching the boats in '06. There wasn't much difference in the price so I went with the most boat for the $$. That extra foot comes in handy!!

My 199 is a great boat.
I am very happy to have that extra length.
When I first went to Legend my thoughts were the 195.
After speaking with Dean and Jamie I new the 199 was for me.
That extra length can reach that next big roller on Mead that is for sure.
