You may want to try Millsboro Pond. It is in Millsboro off of Rt 24 at the intersection of Rt. 30.

Check out the online Delaware Pond guidebook at http://www.fw.delaware.gov/Fisheries/Pages/DelawarePondBooklet.aspx

Also, you may want to hit up any stormwater retention ponds in your local neighborhoods. Just about all of them hold fish (bass), and some produce some really good fish!

One place in particular is The Plantations (plantation road) in Lewes, huge stormwater pond, aerated, and i have seen fish caught from there. All shoreline access.

for public ponds..i don't fish down that way much but trap pond, records, and hearns have been good from what i hear.

let us know what you find and take pics!

I live in Ocean View and fish Ingrams Pond, Trap Pond, and a few in Worcester County.  I have fished Plantations before and have caught a couple of 4-5lb bass in there and have seen my nephew catch one 5lb+. We got kicked out the last time by a security guard who said only homeowners can fish there.  If anyone knows of any other stormwater ponds or small fisheries let me know.
