wow, that sucks.  Let me know when it gets good, I'm going to save up some gas money for when it does. Laugh

On a side note, the fishing in MN was a great.  Bass had just spawned unfortunatley.  I caught a 20.5" fish on a buzbait and I could fit my fist in its mouth.  I threw it on the scale and it weighed 3lbs  In Shock  It should have easy been a 5lb fish, but it must have just spawned.  It looked almost stunted, with a huge head and skinny body.

They were hitting good here Monday and Tuesday. Caught a 12# Flathead on a VibraShock  Laugh

12#!!! thats pretty big.  I'll have to get out sometime this week and see whats changed out there.  Whats the river like.  I was reading about the elites and looked at some pics and it almost looks flooded down there and really muddy with some gunk floating.

Nice kitty cat Karl.  I tried for some cats last night and no luck at all.  Caught a walleye and a carp on worms and nothing on shad.  Bass fishing was not good either.  caught about 5 and 2 northerns, but none were big enough to keep.  Crazy thing was that I caught 1 that was just fat as could be, I mean like I thought it was going to burst.  Then another couple of casts and I catch a small one that was all beat up like it was spawning.  In Shock  You really think those fish were still spawning or was 1 just really fat and the other just unlucky.

I thought we might just turn this into a catfish post Cry  I got my PB cat today on a crankbait fishing around weed clumps Undecided  I was at lake Carlton and thought I had a musky for about 2 min.  This cat was 26" long and 19" around.  I don't know how much it weighed.  

I did manage to catch 19 bass though, combo of cranks and frogs.  Had a ton off blows on buzzfrogs and all the bass did was eat a leg off Ranting  I used up 9 buzzfrogs in about 20 min.

We got 8 on topwater last night.  Two on a mossboss and the rest on buzzfrogs.  They were still way back in the slop at 7:30 last night I was  Sweatin Bullets just trying to fish.  I forgot how bad that is, but you forget when they start blowing up Grin
