Had a chance to go out with Mr. Bill Beck of Table Rock Guide Service for a couple of hours today and boy did we have fun. Got out there about daylight and had one Largemouth on a carolina-rig right at daylight and then we went looking for dropshot fish. Got on some nice spots/largemouths underneath a bridge and ended up with a couple nice fishin the 3-4lb class. Biggest largemouth came on a topwater popper and the two big spots came on a spoon and a dropshot. Overall it was a fun trip and I certainly recommend Mr. Beck if you guys are ever in the Branson area. He also does trout trips on Lake Taneycomo and he said the rainbows and German Browns are biting good now. Again, I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Beck. Real nice guy and he has been guiding since he was 15...he is now 53. I told him about the site, don't know if he will check it out or not. Hopefully he'll drop in and say hello.

BTW if you guys plan on going, go in the morning because the heat and the skiers get pretty bad on up around 10:00 or so.

It is rumored that Beck breaths through gills.

Undecided That is irrelevant to what I posted.

He is an awesome guide because he is part fish.  It is a compliment.  I have recommended him to many folks on another forum.

Cool beans.  Beck and his partner Babbler weighed a 25 pound bag on a tourney last year.  They are always a threat to win!
