Well i went up to Michigan to my sons for the fourth of July pig roast and he was so busy I didn't get out in the boat but one time for about any hour. There was so much boat traffic (pleasure boaters) we anchered down the little boat in about 30 ' of water and the boat was swaying back and fourth so much and brian and I was fishing for Bluegills with nightcrawlers and not getting any bites so I rigged up my wrom rod witn a GY Senko and throw it out weightless and let it sink to the bottom and workeded it back real slow. After about six cast I felt that little tap tap which I have become so use to and knew it was a Bass picking up my GY Senko. I set the hook on the only Bite we had during our hour of fishing. It weighed  about a LB and 1/2 and was 15 " long. Released to bite another day   Grin

Nature report. Saw lots of turtles and geese and ducks and chipmunks and also a muskrat swimming around back in the cove where I fished from a dock. All in all it was a great weekend to be out of Chicago   Smiley
