Spring Lake is also worth talking about for us western michigan fishers. It has been a decent year on spring lake. Not to sound like a broken record but both tube baits as well as yamamotos have worked great in spring lake this year. Also try throwing out a shallow running crankbait 1-2 ft deep up by shore and bringing it over the weeds.

On occassion if you are fishing w/ a white tube be ready to tie into some sheepshead (freshwater drum) and prepare for a fight. I got a 13lber on 8lb test earlier this year and what a fight!!!!
