All right folks here's the deal....

Sunrise will be about 6:55 am so safelight with no fog or clouds will be about 6:25 - 6:30.

The state parks protection boom has failed and is now holding the salvania IN? Plum Orchard is still under construction and there is only parking for two. Mid Lake Marina has some parking and with our current turn out it will be fine. I have launched there twice and it has been mostly clear and easy to manage. The only problem will be depth? If the lake drops too much it will be too shallow. Fogy or I will keep tabs on it. As of right now this will be our launch site, subject to change. If it gets to low we may have to move to Grices.

Everyone please get there. Early, Mid Lake Marina is a single lane ramp.

I'll keep watch on Plum and Mid Lake.

Who is all fishing? if it's not to many we might be able to park at Plum.

No Fogy I'm not a chicken. It's just the fact that I don't want to have to get up at 4:30 in the morning and drive over an hour just to fish on a lake that SUCKS!!!

Jared the fishing was actaully very good out there this weekend. Your asperations to be a pro are not being helped with your attitude? If you don't like a lake, that should be all the more reason to try and learn something new that will help you in the future?

And don't use the salvania as an excuse as I have been out there twice now and in the middle of the overall lake it's not bad at all. And the launch is clean. If your scared say your scared. Your excuses don't hold water for our next Van Damn. It's not near as bad as trying to fish caddo right now!!

I actually know the lake quite well. I just don't want to have to put up with salvinia sticking to all my baits. I don't fish in the middle of the lake. I fish near the dam and from what I hear, fishing near the dam is like fishing on land. And I DANG sure don't appreciate being called a chicken just because i don't want to fish bistineau.

Well now...To get back on TOPIC (which I never stray from  Angel? Not! ), I will be fishing. I'm also pretty sure that the Pilgreen's will be as well.
Those of you keeping an eye on the ramps, Thank you. That will really help. I think it will depend on the wind as well for that day.

Jared, What you need to realize is Cork and Fogy see your potential as an Angler. That is why they give you a hard time about only fishing lakes that you want to fish. No Body ever made it above Club level by fishing only the lakes they like. You have to be able to fish every lake condition that is thrown at you and excell. Whether you like it or not.  Wink No one is knocking you. Just trying to get you to realize that your dream of being a pro will never come true with the attitude you have taken toward Bist.  Wink

I'm sorry I meant to put this up way before now just got busy.

State Park ramp is clear inside the floats but full, way full of salvania outside the floats.

Plum looks to be done with the oil rig but still limited parking due to the hay rolls and clear of salvania- I'm going to launch there due to the limited parking at mid-lake and will just boat the 30 yards over to the launch.

Mid lake was clear of salvania as well but there was a big group of it just out by the trees so based on the wind tonight it may or may not float in to the launch, the launch is small and collects the stuff but when loading if you snap the boat to the trailer and put the motor in reverse and give it just a bit of gas it will blow it all out off your bunks before pulling out at the end of the day.

Good Luck tomarrow everyone looks like rain and if so I'll be on my own again; dang kids   Laugh Laugh
