Has Mike recently retired from reel tuneups and Super tuning? I cannot find anything on UB about either. I want to get all my reels serviced and thought I would start here first. Love this site and all the guys/gals that are here.
Thank You

From my understanding, Mike has retired and put up the old scrub brush  Laugh but I'm sure he'll be along later to clarify.

Eric, Thank You for the links. I will probably send my Quantum PT's to him for ST'ing. However, this winter I want to try ST'ing myself on my BP Royal Expresses and my Cabella's Tounament ZX. These are not now my main reels. Just backups in case any of the quantums go TU.

I have also heard that mike has put up the brushes.  I sent some of my reels away to pro reel service.  http://www.proreelservice.com/ and he did an awesome job.  I got them cleaned and supertuned for I think 16$ a piece and then I got bad parts replaced.  They performed better then when they were new and I didn't have to spend 100$ for new reels and with them supertuned I could cast the same distance with about half the effort as before, which made casting all day mush easier.  I highly reccomend.

For several reasons I had to close down shop on the Reel Business  Cry

I can walk you through the super tune process and answer any questions you might have. It will take you about two hours per reel and you will need a dremel and some other very cheap supplies I have an Idea!

A member of the site, ksbasser, might be able to help you out if you want to send them to someone.

Hope you get your banner up on the sponsor side. I was going to have a couple of reels super tune in the off season. Thanks Mike
