Water temp is 74 degrees, cloudy and raining all week should be great but all I am catching is little spots. Bigger fish seem to be holding deep on ledges and points and only bitting at dawn and sunset. If someone could help me out on this I would really be grateful. I have not been able to get a crankbait bite or spinner bait bite, only a small worm and jig bite. I have not thrown top water that much but will try this afternoon towards dark.

Spooning for whites has been great but have not got a black while doing that yet.

John,  I was fished up toward Rocky branch Sat. morning for a few hours.  I caught most of mine on shad colored crankbait around 10' to 12' feet gravelly banks toward the backs of the creeks.  (several keeper spots, 1 keeper black, 2 walleye).  I also tried the CB in deep water in the main creek arm but didn't have any bites.  I also caught a few smaller ones on a texas rigged lizard, but the keeper size fish came on the crankbait.     

I'll be going back this week in hunt for the bigger fish though.
